The eighth album from this band from Spain.
The band was quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars and synths.
I reviewed their fifth album Vortex (2018) some years ago and liked it a lot. I have forgotten to review their sixth and seventh album. I will do that sometime in the next three months.
Siete clocks in at forty-two minutes.
The music here is post-rock.
There is also a lot of post-metal in their music. I was in fact in two minds about which label to use on this music. Post-rock or post-metal.
The music is pretty hard. There are some ebbs and flows in their music here.
The music is also guitar-based, and the sound is good.
The band does not bring anything new to this genre. This is still a solid album and one to check out of post rock/metal is your thing.
