Proportions - The Power Of Ten (2024)

The sixth album from this multi-national band.

The band/project was a sextet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, piano, organ, keyboards, flute and vocals.

A guest added guitars on one track.

The band/project returned again after the previous year's very good Conundrum album. Their last three album had been on a very high standard and I am slowly becoming a fan of them.

The Power Of Ten is a fifty minutes long album. The band is still exploring the symphonic prog genre. There is a lot of Camel influences here.

There are also some notable Canterbury scene influences here with some good Caravan influences.

The music is symphonic, melodic and elegant. There are some  good vocals here inbetween some long instrumental pieces of music. The songs are all elegant and very good.

This is another very good album from this band/project. I hope we will hear a lot more from them in the future.
