Venus Loon - Pandora's Paradox (2024)

The fifth album from this band from Great Britain.

The band was a duo with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.

I reviewed their second album Acid Purtitan (2021) some days ago and that was a decent space rock and electronica album.

That is also the kind of music we get on this three quarters of an hour long album too.

There are some long guitar solos here with some vocals and some melodies. There is also some electronica here too.

The music sometimes reminds me about the last albums from the Dutch symphonic prog duo Us. But the music here is not symphonic prog, though. Some parts here are melodic, though.

The music are indeed pretty melodic throughout. The sound is not particular good and neither is the music in particular interesting.

This is a decent enough album but nothing more. I am not won over.
