Carpani. Alex - 4 Destinies (2014)

The third album from this artist from Italy.

Alex Carpani did the piano, organ, mellotron, moog and the vocals.

He had help from some guests who added drums, bass, guitars, balalaika, bouzouiki, flute, woodwinds and vocals.

His first two albums were two good symphonic prog albums and I was therefore looking forward to reviewing this album.

This fifty-five minutes long album takes us to the symphonic prog genre again.

There are some strong RPI influences here too in addition to the Anglo-American symphonic prog sound. His take on symphonic prog has both Genesis and Spock's Beard influences.

The music is both melodic and symphonic. The vocals is good and there is a lot of very good details here.

This is indeed a good album and one to check out.
