The debut album from this artist from Norway.
Lorentzen does the keyboards, electronics and spoken words here.
He got help from some guests who has added drums, percussion, bass, guitars, violin, viola, cello and woodwinds.
The music on this three quarters of an hour long album is a mix of electronica and cinematic rock. A good reference is Steve Reich. The spoken words is the haunting poetry of Rainer Maria Ilke.
There are a lot of soft strings throughout this softly spoken music. The drums, percussion and bass is also soft.
The artist has released this album as a beacon of hope in a difficult world, the promotion blurb says. The music is indeed nice and harmonic. Not everything here is good but there is a lot of interesting things here.
I am not entirely won over but those who likes softly spoken cinematic rock should check out this album.
