Apogeo - Due Ere (1983)

The one and only album from this band from Italy.

The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocoder.

This album is totally unknown but there are now some ongoing research into the band in ProgArchives after I tipped them off about this band.

This album clocks in at close to forty minutes.

The sound is very poor but we can still make out the music here. The music is some sort of symphonic prog. RPI to be more precise.

There is a lot of both Le Orme and ELP influences here. Add in Trace and Pink Mice too and you get the drift.

The music is a bit cheesy at times but it is still pretty good.

The bad sound means this album is not as good as it should have been. This album is screaming out for a cleanup and a re-release. I would still recommend this to all RPI fans. Symphonic prog fans should also have a look at this album.

The music is pretty good. The sound is pretty dire. Hence....
