The debut album from this band from Denmark.
The band was a trio with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, piano and keyboards.
This band is a pretty name in today's krautrock and space rock scene. I have all their nine albums up for reviews this summer.... starting with this, their debut album.
This album is half an hour long.
Space rock is what we get here. Outer space rock. Four jam like pieces where Ozric Tentacles and Hawkwind is good references.
The music is pretty dreamy too. Not to say floating. There are some avant-garde noise here too. The music is mid-complex and pretty melodic too.
The music is mainly performed with bass and both half-acoustic and electric guitars. The drums are filling in on the rhythms and there are some sporadic keyboards here too.
The music is decent to good. This is an acceptable debut album and something to build on. Which they did, their popularity taken into account.
