The 18th album from this band from Great Britain.
The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
Three guests added keyboards and vocals.
The band returned again after a four years long album break.
Sea Of Light is clocking in at just over one hour.
The music is again a blend of heavy metal and hard rock.
The music is pretty commercial with this 1990s heavy metal sound. The music is not full-blooded heavy metal as there is a lot of hard rock in the music.
Mick Box, the guitarist, is occupied full time on this album with a lot of guitar licks and solos. This is his album.
Bernie Shaw on the vocals does a good job. There is no head-in-the-face bad songs or gimmicks here. This is an honest hour of music. The music is decent enough. This is not one of their better albums. Neither is it an album that shames this band and their reputation.
