The seventh album from this band from USA.
The band was a duo of Donald Fagen and Walter Becker with a lineup of bass, guitars, piano, keyboards and vocals.
They got help from numerous guests who provided drums, haldorophone, percussion, vibes, bass, guitars, piano, keyboards, woodwinds and backing vocals.
The band continued on with their quirky, jazz influenced take on art-rock. This time on the forty minutes long Gaucho.
The music is also a bit poppy and there is some soul here too. There is a lot of female backing vocals on this album.
The music is also slick and commercial without really having any big hits.
The vocals is good and the overall quality is good too. This album is not as good as their previous albums. Nevertheless, this band is a class act and that shines through on this album.
