The fifth album from this artist from Italy.
Paola Tagliaferro did all the vocals herself.
She got help from a trio who added drums, bass, guitars, piano and keyboards.
I know absolute nothing about this artist as I got this album as a promo download. I only know that one of the leading lights in the RPI scene, Luca Scherani did the piano and keyboards on this album.
This album was released as an eighty minutes long album, split into two parts with the same songs in English and Italian. The only difference is the language. A pretty hopeless concept so I am only reviewing the forty minutes long Italian vocals part of this album. The English vocals part of this album deserves to be bypassed in silence and without a word.
The music on this forty minutes long album is melodic pop/rock with a lot of RPI influences. It can be argued that this is indeed a RPI album.
The music is not complex. It has a lot of symphonic prog influences.... which indeed makes this a RPI album. It is a bit RPI-light and based on Paola's good vocals.
The songs are decent enough and focused on the vocals. I am not won over by this album which I guess will do well in Italy but nowhere else.
