The fourth album from this band from Great Britain.
The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
One guest added harmonica.
It is now almost fourteen years since I started to review their albums. See # 1 of this blog. I posted a review of A Salty Dog in July 2017 (see here) and then I dropped the band from my review list. I am now going to complete the reviews of their albums, starting with a review of this album.
Home is clocking in at forty minutes.
The music is a blend of early symphonic prog and art-rock.
The tempo is mid-tempo. The music is songs based. The music has some Americana influences.
The late Gary Brooker's keyboards and vocals are in the foreground of the music. The guitars are also pretty good.
The music is very much in the 1970s art-rock vein.
The music is also pretty good. I am not entirely won over but this album is worth checking out.
