Morse. Neal - NMB Lift (2026)

The 35th album from this artist from USA.

Neal Morse did the guitars, keyboards and vocals here.

He had help from his band who added drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.

Neal Morse has released a lot of albums and they have been split between Gospel praise albums and symphonic progressive rock albums. I only review his progressive rock albums.

NMB Lift is clocking in at seventy minutes.

The music here is symphonic prog. US symphonic prog, that is.

Neal Morse has created his own sub-genre within the US symphonic prog genre. A genre which again is a sub-genre of the symphonic prog genre.

The music is majestic, epic and uplifting sunny symphonic.

The vocals are very good and there are some very good guitar solos and themes here. Neal Morse is repeating himself and recirculating some old ideas on this album. Some of the stuff is too familiar for those of us who has followed and are following his career. To a certain degree, Neal Morse is threading water here.

That said, the music is very good and this is one of his better albums. Hence....
