Frutería Toñi - Tengo Mis Días Buenos (2017)

The second album from this band from Spain.

The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards, clarinet, saxophone and vocals.

A handful of guests added guitars, oboe and backing vocals.

I reviewed their 2014 album Mellotron En Almibar back in May 2015 for # 1 of this blog. I have also had their second and third albums for a while and on my list of albums to review. A review of their third and last album will follow before the end of the year.

I really like the Mellotron En Almibar album a lot as I wrote in my review of that album. That album were a blend of a RIO/avant-garde album and an eclectic prog album.

The one hour long Tengo Mis Dias Buenos has a lot of the same type of music.

There is a lot of King Crimson in their music. There are also some jazz and folk rock in their music. The Spanish male vocals are good and the music is both colourful and good.

Eclectic prog fans should check out this band.
