Sume - Sume (1977)

The third album from this band/project from Greenland.

The band/project was a seven-pieces big with a line-up of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, grand piano, organ, Mellotron and vocals.

The band has so far yet to impress me. But I am still going to review their final two albums.... starting with this album.

Sume clocks in at forty minutes.

The music is folk rock.

There are far more bluesy rock here than folk rock. There are some Procol Harum influences throughout this album.

The lyrics are in the local language Greenlandic, a language spoken by just over fifty thousand people. The vocals is pretty good.

The music is a bit simple and based on guitars and vocals.

The music is pretty decent throughout. This is not an album I can recommend.
