The second album from this band from Switzerland.
The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars and vocals.
Two guests added percussion and guitars on a couple of tracks.
I was not impressed at all by their pretty poor 2011 debut album Trip Me Tender. That meant I had no expectations to Kosmikrock.
This album clocks in at seventy-five minutes.
The music is a blend of space rock, psych rock and some post-rock. The music is in short krautrock.
The pieces of music here are one average ten minutes long. There are some long space rock excersises here and some pretty good vocals too.
The music is pretty groovy throughout. The guitars are good.
The result is a vast improvement on their debut album and a pretty good album. This is an album krautrock fans should check out.
