Oberon - Oberon Through Time And Space (2014)

The third album from this band from Norway.

The band was a one-man-band with Bård Titlestad doing the keyboards, electronics and vocals.

This is the final of the in total three album on Prophecy Records Bandcamp page that year. I have earlier this fall reviewed their previous two albums and they are decent enough albums.

This album is a compilation of two demos released in the late 1990s. The album clocks in at thirty-five minutes too.

The music is in the singer/songwriter tradition. It is also a blend of acoustic music with lots of vocals inbetween some ambient pieces.

The vocals is good and the sound is pretty good.

The music is dark and melancholic. It also has some symph prog influences.

This is so far the best Oberon album I have heard so far and a decent enough album in it's own right.

Oberon released an album in 2018 and I will review it before the end of the year.
