The fourth and final album from this band from Norway.
The band was a one-man-band with Bård Titlestad doing the keyboards, electronics and vocals.
I have reviewed his first three albums earlier this fall and I have not been that impressed. The music was too pedestrian for my liking.
The three quarters of an hour long Aeon Chaser is still in the singer/songwriter tradition.
The music is again piano and vocals dominated. There is a lot of bass and guitars involved too. My guess is that they are programmed.
The music is mid-tempo and the music is bordering to psych rock throughout.
There is a lot of melancholy in the music.
The songs are pretty good and this is by far the best Oberon album.... so far. It is an album well worth checking out if psych rock is your thing.
