The 22nd album from this band from Great Britain.
The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
The official name of the band is John Lee's Barclay James Harvest and this has been their name for their last albums. I just prefer to call them Barclay James Harvest, the band who were formed back in 1966.
Relativity is clocking in at almost eighty minutes and this is a sort of concept album.
The music is progressive rock anno the early 1970s.
There is also a lot of good old mainstream rock here and some Americana influences.
The music is slow to mid-tempo and songs based.
The vocals is good and ditto for the vocal harmonies. The band does a good job on some not in particular technical songs.
The music is pretty pedestrian and not particularly interesting.
The result is a decent enough album which fans of this band will perhaps like a lot. I am more a fan of their older material than this album.
