The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars and vocals.
The band split up after their last album in 1976 and reformed again in 1983. This one hour long album is their first album since they came back together again.
The band has largely ditched the psych rock and most of the hard rock.
Americana is the replacement here. There is a lot of country'n'western here and a lot of mainstream US rock.
The album is hard rocking but not in the British way. This is an album of US rock. In other words, Americana.
The music is songs based, simple and pretty melodic. The music is decent enough but not more than that. This is an unimpressive album.
