The fourth album from this band from USA.
The band was a trio with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, piano, synths, soundscapes and vocals.
A number of guests added keyboards, synths, soundscapes, woodwinds and vocals.
I have reviewed the first two albums but not the third album if my memories serves me right. I may review that album sometimes later.
Music For Horses clocks in at three quarters of an hour.
The music here is best described as art-rock.
There is a lot of Americana in their music too. Based on the sound and music, there is no mistake about which country this band comes from.
The music is rocking and lively with some woodwinds throughout this album in addition to the usual guitars and synths.
The quality is pretty good throughout. There are not enough good songs here and that is my gripe with this album. It is an album art-rock fans should check out.
