The debut album from this band from The Netherlands.
The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards, samples and vocals.
This band has just released their new album, which is their second album, and I aim to review that album before the end of the year.
This, their debut album The Scream Of Nature is based on the famous painting The Scream by my fellow Norwegian Edvard Munch and it is clocking in at forty minutes.
The music is symphonic prog.
There are even some RPI influences in their take on symphonic prog. The music also got a lot of Johan Sebastian Bach influences. There is both some Yes and Genesis influences here.
The music is in other words more melodic than epic. The vocals is good. The sampled flutes are also good. There are also some good guitar solos here.
This is a more than acceptable debut album and a good album in it's own right. Check it out from their Bandcamp page.
