The debut album from this band from Venezuela.
The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, electric piano, keyboards, loops and vocals.
This band released ten albums between 1980 and 2016. They are all up for reviews this winter in this blog.
This band was one of the most productive, prolific prog bands from South America during their time. Not all their albums are progressive rock albums.... but we will come to that during the reviews of their albums.
Atabal Yemal is clocking in at just short of forty-five minutes.
The music is a flowery blend of prog, psych and some fusion.
There are also clear Latin rock influences here too.
The music is quirky and a bit complex. The Spanish vocals is good.
The result is a pretty good album which will really please everyone into South American progressive rock. This is an album well worth checking out.
