Juniors. The - The Juniors Story (1971)

The one and only album from this band from Italy.

The band was a sextet with a line-up of percussion, drums, bass, guitars, piano, organ, clavinet, moog, woodwinds and vocals.

This album is the full story, all songs, released by this band throughout their history. This extended version of this album was released by Mellow Records in 2007. The true release date year of this album is therefore 2007.

This album is clocking in at eighty-three minutes.

The music is a blend of 1960s beat, Italian pop and some psych and RPI.

The music can be labelled proto-RPI.

The album starts with a very Whiter Shade Of Pale'ish (Procol Harum) theme. It is no less a rip-off of that theme.

The rest of the album is more Italian beat and pop orientated.

The (male) vocals are in Italian.

The music is simple and songs based. There is a lot of cheesy woodwinds here. The clavinets are also a bit cheesy.

The music is very much outdated and this album is a bit of a museum piece. This is a half-decent album without much merit.
