The debut album from this duo from Italy.
Alfio Costa did the piano, keyboards and vocals here. Stefano Piazzi did the guitars and vocals.
Two guests added drums and vocals.
This forty minutes long album is a radical rework of Prowlers thirty years old album Morgana. An album I have never really rated as a classic RPI album. Prowlers were a good RPI band but never really among the best or more interesting RPI bands in my opinion.
Both Stefano Piazzi and Alfio Costa played on the original album.
The music is stripped down and based on piano and vocals. It is also pretty dark and brooding. The music is mostly slow and does not have many interesting details.
The sound is downtuned and not particularly good. The vocals are pretty good.
The music is too pedestrian and does not have enough variations to hold the attention of the listener throughout these forty minutes.
This is a pretty decent album. I don't think the original album was this bad. Sorry, Alfio and Stefano...
