The second album from this band from USA.
The band was a quintet with a lineup of percussion, drums, bass, guitars, synths, flute and vocals.
Four guests added daf, clarinet, bassoon and vocals.
After a two years long break, the band returned again with this fifty minutes long album.
The music here is extreme metal with some psych rock and rock opera influences. The music has some avant-garde structures too.
The vocals is a blend of death metal growls, black metal shrieks and clean vocals.
The music is big, bold, complex and fast. The music sounds like death metal songs with some added rock opera structures.
There is also some psych rock influences here on the two ten minutes plus long songs. The music is also complex and intricate.
The result is a pretty good album. I am not entirely won over. Nevertheless, I have added the band to my list of bands I want to follow up in the next years and future.
