The third album from this band from USA.
The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, piano, synths, programming, orchestration and vocals.
Three guests added piano and narrations.
The band started out as an extreme metal - folk rock combo on their debut album before they went a bit more extreme metal on their second album. Both have been reviewed in this blog.
The sixty-seven minutes long Veil Of Imagination sees the band go extreme metal opera. Yes, that is possible as this album proves.
The music is big, bold and majestic. There are some pastoral slow pieces here too and that makes this an album full of contrasts, an album full of extremes.
The vocals are both clean and growls. They are all good.
The result is indeed a good album and their so far best album. A review of their fourth and so far latest album will follow sometime soon.
