Mai Più Inverno - Lassù Gli Ultimi (2026)

The debut album from this band from Italy.

The band was a quartet with a lineup of percussion, bass, guitars, bouzouki, keyboards, flute and vocals.

A handful of guests added drums, percussion and vocals.

This is another new band to me. I became aware of it through ProgArchives and got a copy of this album.

This album is forty-two minutes long and the music is largely folk-rock.

That means folk-rock with some RPI influences. The singer/songwriter influences are far stronger than the RPI influences, though.

The music is a blend of electric and acoustic guitars. Add in the flutes and the vocals too. The music is therefore pretty gentle and pastoral. There are some good details here too.

There is a lot of vocals here and they are good.

Some of the stuff here is good and some is rather decent. This is an interesting debut album and I hope the band will release some more albums in the future.
