The debut album from this band from USA.
The band was a sextet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards, synths and voice.
Two guests added didgeridoo and saxophones.
This band was the King's X member Doug Pinnick's side project. Robbi Robb from Tribe After Tribe and some other musicians were the rest of this band. I got a handful of their in total eight albums up for review this autumn.
Peacock Black clocks in at one hour and sixteen minutes.
The music here is space rock.
Their take on space rock is wild and outer space. The music is also improvised and does not have many structures.
Some of the music here is also ambient and electronica.
The space rock stuff is rather good. The ambient and the electronica is best forgotten. The result is an uneven album and a decent album in it's own right.
