The debut album from this band from The Netherlands.
This is a one-man-band with Timothy Van Der Holst doing most of the instruments here... drums, bass, piano, organ and synths.
Some guests added guitars, lyrics and vocals.
The result is this forty minutes long album, released both as LP and an online download album.
Timothy set up this band to play melodic prog in the vein of Yes, Genesis and Camel. And that is indeed what we get on this album.
That means melodic prog somewhere between symphonic prog and neo-prog.
The music is slow to mid-tempo with some classic organ and guitars. The vocals is also classic and very good. The sound is very good and there is some very good guitar solos here.
This is indeed an album in the traditional prog rock albums mould. My only gripe with this album is the lack of any great tracks. But those into neo-prog and symphonic prog should check out this album.
The band has just released a new album and I will review it later this month.
