Gabriel Construct. The - Interior City (2013)

The one and only album from this band from USA.

This is the solo project of Gabriel Lucas Riccio who did the percussion keyboards, programming and vocals here.

He had help from a number of guests who provided drums, bass, guitars, violin, saxophones and voices.

I know next to nothing about this project. I got this album many years ago and forgot about it until I added it to my to-review list some months ago.

Interior City clocks in at seventy-three minutes.

The music here is eclectic prog/metal.

The music is mostly dissonant and pretty esoteric. The tones are twisted and broken. Most of the music is hard to very hard.

There are also some more melodic music here too.

The vocals are at times operatic male vocals. There are also some more clean vocals here. The vocals are all good.

Some of the music works. Other parts falls a bit flat on it's face.

The result is a pretty good album, well worth checking out if eclectic music is your thing.
