Cinématique - Limbo (2013)

The second and final album from this band from Austria.

The band was a quartet with a line-up of drums, bass, guitars, electronics and vocals.

I very much liked their debut album as I wrote in my review. That album is a mini-classic album. Hence I was looking forward to review Limbo, a Bandcamp name-your-price album.

Limbo is clocking in at fifty-three minutes.

The music here is post rock.

Sigur Ros looms large in their music. The music here is very much in the vein of these masters from Iceland.

The music is also pretty ambient. There is no explosions of sound here. The music is really softly spoken throughout.

There is a good ambience throughout this album. The electronics and the guitars are good. The vocals are without words, used as instruments.

This album is not as good as their debut album. It is still a pretty good album and worth checking out if post rock and Sigur Ros is your thing.
