The fifth album from this band from USA.
The band was a quintet with a line-up of drums, bass, guitars, synths and vocals.
The band returned again after a fifteen minutes long album break.
Voids And Visions is clocking in at seventy-eight minutes.
The music is a blend of heavy prog and progressive metal. There are also a lot of alternative rock here.
This is a long album and there is a lot to take in here. This is not a traditional blend of prog metal and heavy prog.
The music here is indeed a bit left-field and alternative. A bit eclectic too.
There are a lot of guitars here on this mid-tempo music. There are some strange rhythms here too.
The vocals are all good.
The music is.... a bit unremarkable. I am not really getting it. The music is really not going anywhere. This is a decent enough album but so far their weakest album.
