Round Window. The - The Round Window (2022)

The debut album from this band from Great Britain.

The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.

One guest added flute on one track.

The band has so far released two albums and both of them are up for review this week.

The Round Window clocks in at fifty minutes.

The music here is neo-prog.

Their take on neo-prog has a lot of early days symphonic prog influences too. The late 1960s influences are obvious.

The music is melodic, muscular and pretty much straight forward. The music is not particularly complex.

The band does a good enough job and the vocals are pretty good. The vocalist knows his limits and stays well within them. Not everyone does that....

The music is also charming and endearing.

The quality is good throughout. This is an album well worth checking out.
