The second album from this band from Brazil.
The band was a duo with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, banjo, piano, synths, programming, voices and vocals.
Two guests added cello and female vocals on one track.
The band returned again with this fifty minutes long album after a ten years long album break.
As I wrote in my review of their 2015 debut album, I was not very impressed by their music. It was still a pretty good album.
The music on Endurance is melodic neo-prog with some incorporated heavy prog.
The music is pretty standard and there is not many surprises or any new things the band is bringing to the scene. The vocals is good and the band does a good job on some good and some rather decent songs.
I am still not won over. Nevertheless, this is on balance a good album and one to check out if melodic, elegant prog is your thing.
