Blood Incantation - Hidden History Of The Human Race (2019)

The second album from this band from USA.

The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars and vocals.

The album clocks in at thirty-seven minutes and the music is mainly death metal.

Early Morbid Angel is a good reference here. There are some psych rock influences here too and the music is therefore not straight death metal.

The music here is far more in the vein of straight death metal than than the music on their 2016 debut album Starspawn.

The music is both fast and very brutal. The vocals are the usual death metal growls. The guitars are a bit dissonant at times.

There is not much progressive here and not many deviations from the death metal orthodoxy. This is still a decent enough album but just that. This is a too safe album from this band and a step in the wrong direction.
