The second album from this band from Mexico.
This is a one-man-band with Rahoola on bass, guitars, piano, keyboards and drums programming.
He had help from some guests who provided drums, violins, trombone, flutes, narration and vocals.
Act I was released in 2023 and I rated it as a turkey in my review for # 3 of this blog back in October 2023. So I had no expectation to Act II, this album....
Rahoola has moved the music more towards rock in Act II. The result is more a rock opera than a neo-classical piece of music. There is even some goth metal influences here. Not to mention symphonic prog influences.
The music is pretty elegant and it still retains a lot of neo-classical music.
It is fair to say that this album contains some very special music. It is not what I would call the normal fare. This album is also an improvement on Act I and a decent enough album in it's own right.
Those who likes rock operas should check out this album.
