The seventh album from this band from Australia.
The band was a trio with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars and keyboards.
Two guests added violin and trumpet.
Hmm... Looking at the artwork... Is this a thrash/death metal album ? Nothing could be further from the truth.
Grudge Party is a forty minutes long album and the music is somewhere between neo-classical music and heavy prog.
The music is sometimes heavy. Then there are some pretty fast neo-classical pieces too.
The music is cheesy throughout this album and not particularly original or innovative. The sound is good and that is a positive. The music itself is not particular interesting. The whole package makes me wonder if the band is serious here or has made this album as a sendup.
In any case, this is a decent enough album.
