The third album from this band from France.
The band was a sextet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards, saxophone and vocals.
One guest added bass on one track.
I have not been particularly impressed by their first two albums. But I am here to be impressed so I am continuing to review their albums.
This album is clocking in at fifty-five minutes.
The music is a blend of djent, alternative extreme metal and progressive metal.
The music is more melodic than on their previous album All Seing Eye from 2008. A good reference is Tool.
The vocals and the guitars are still harsh and not everyone's cup of tea. There is a lot of good details here though and the music is pretty good throughout.
I am not yet won over. This is the best of their first three albums though and the band is improving. I hope that continues on their next albums too. Albums to be reviewed later this spring/summer.
