Manic Vice - Sólo en Nuestra Cabeza (2026)

The debut album from this band from Spain.

The band was a trio with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.

One guest added bass on one track.

This band is a new band on the scene. This and many other albums from Spain has been released through the Astronomy Recording Music's Bandcamp site. The album is also self-released and available on CD and LP from what I gather.

This album is clocking in at fifty-five minutes.

The music here is eclectic psych rock.

The music is pretty catchy with some very good guitars and organs here. The music is also pretty complex. It is also wild and lively. There is even a drum solo on this album. Drum solos on a studio album are rare these days. The music has its roots firmly in the 1970s psych rock and hard rock scene.

The blend of female and male vocals is very good and adds a lot of quality to this album.

The album cover artwork is indeed a pretty good indicator of the music here.

The result is a very good album and an album I think will feature pretty high on most progheads, those who find this album that is, album-of-the-year list at the end of this year.
