The second album from this band from Norway.
The band was a ten pieces big band with a lineup of marimba, percussion, drums, bass, guitars, piano, electric piano, organ, flute, clarinet, saxophones, programming and vocals.
Some guests added bass, musical saw, cello, viola, violin, harp, woodwinds, narration, voices and vocals.
Their 2014 debut album was a good album somewhere between the Canterbury Scene and Frank Zappa's bizarre world. That album were mostly in the Canterbury Scene though and had some good jazzy parts as I noted in my review earlier this year.
Tenk Om Noen Ser Deg is clocking in at thirty-five minutes.
The band has moved far more towards Frank Zappa's bizarre world on this album. There is a lot of bizarre lyrics and vocals on this album.
The music is indeed quirky and bizarre with a lot of vaudeville rock. The music is drowned out by the vocals and voices. That is my main gripe with this album and why this album is nowhere as good as their debut album. Frank Zappa fans should check out this album.
