The seventh album from this band from Venezuela.
The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
One guest added cello.
Their last albums were some pretty poor pop albums. I therefore had no longer any hopes for this band. Then this album arrived.
This one hour long album feels like an album from a different band. As the band had taken an eleven years long break before they recorded and released this album, that may be the reason for what we get here.
The music is a blend of symphonic prog, fusion and neo-classical music.
There are some good Spanish vocals here. Most of the album is instrumental, though.
The music is dynamic and quirky. It is also pretty melodic with a couple of normal songs inbetween the cascades of instrumental, pretty epic pieces of music.
The result is a good album and a big surprise after those pretty dire preceding pop albums. The band is back and this is the best of their albums.
