Last Knight - Talking To The Moon (2016)

The fourth album from this multi-national project.

The project consists of around one hundred contributors and the lineup is drums, percussion, bass, guitars, strings, woodwinds, a symphony orchestra, synths, piano, keyboards, a choir and vocals.

This album is a massive 3-CDs album, twohundred and thirty minutes long. That is close to four hours of music divided on thirty tracks. No wonder nobody has yet written a review of this album.....

The music is a blend of symphonic prog, neo-prog, cinematic rock and neo-classical music.

There is a lot of latter days Pink Floyd influences here. There is also some Dark Side Of The Moon references in the lyrics here.

There is also some Broadway and West End musicals influences here. Influences that makes the music a bit wishy-washy.

Half of the music here is good while the rest is decent enough. And yes, I did the whole four hours of listening here. A test of concentration that required a full kettle with strong coffee.

Check out this album if this is tempting.
