The 25th album from this band from Great Britain.
The band was a sextet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, mandolin, fiddle, keyboards and vocals.
I have reviewed most of their albums, if not all of them, in previous editions of this blog. Mostly in the # 1 of this blog. I really like this band so I jumped on the chance to review their latest album. An album released one year ago, that is.
This album clocks in at three quarters of an hour and the music is folk-rock.
Maddy Prior is the vocalist here and she has had a looooong, succesful career. Both with Mike Oldfield and his hit singles, solo-career and as member of Steeleye Span and other folk-rock bands.
The music is classic folk-rock with some fiddle and lots of guitars, bass and drums. The music is a blend of rockers and more pastoral ballads.
The vocals is good and the music is a blend of good and decent songs. It is nice to hear something new, a new album from this legendary band.
