The third album from this band from Norway.
The band was a seven pieces big band on this album with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, piano, organ, keyboards, synths, flutes and vocals.
One guest added lead vocals on one track.
I was not particular impressed by the previous album Tenk Om Noen Ser Deg (2018). It was a decent enough album full of Frank Zappa like vaudeville prog.
Legenden Om Boblemus is clocking in at half an hour and this album marks the band's return after a seven years long album break.
The band and production is stripped down here and the list of muscians is much reduced from the previous album.
The music is a blend of Frank Zappa ditties and Canterbury scene jazz. There is a lot more instrumental music here too and the amount of vocals has been reduced. The last half of this album is mostly instrumental vaudeville jazz in the Canterbury scene mould.
The music is weird and quirky. This album is also an improvement on the previous album. This is a pretty good album in it's own right.
