The second album from this band from USA.
The band was a trio with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
A guest added vocals on one track.
The band returned again after a ten years long break. I reviewd their good debut album Where Memories Combine earlier this month and gave it a good rating.
The follow up album, this one, is a fifthy minutes long album who continues on in the same track as their debut album.
That means progressive metal with a lot of extreme metal and djent influences. There are also some power metal stuff here too.
Most of the music is complex, bold, epic, heavy and pretty extreme. There are also some pastoral themes here. Some good old ballads, in other words.
The clean and extreme meteal vocals are acceptable.
The music is suffering from a slight lack of quality. Some of the music here is good and some is not. Hence...
2.5 points
