The third album from this band from USA.
The band was a quartet with a line-up of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards, effects and vocals.
Three guests added guitars and woodwinds.
The band returned again after a three years long album break. I reviewed their first two albums in # 3 of this blog and liked them a lot. A very promising band was my conclusion.
StopGo is clocking in at fifty minutes.
The music here is heavy prog.
The music is mid-tempo to fast. The music is flowery and colourful. There is some vaudeville rock here too as David Bowie has been an inspiration. There are also some heavy djent themes here too.
There are a lot of guitars here. The guitars are working on all ranges. From harmonies to solos to harsh guitars.
The female vocals is pretty dominant here and they are adding the spice and colours this album so full of.
The music can rightly be labelled as modern progressive rock in addition to the heavy prog label I have put on them.
The overall quality is good and this band is very talented. I hope to hear a lot more from them in the future.
