A number of guests added drums, guitars, mandolin and backing vocals.

The Prodigal Stranger clocks in at fifty-two minutes.
The music is mainstream rock.
There is also some soul in their music. The soul comes a lot from the female backing singers.
The music is mid-tempo with some good guitars and the usual great vocals from Gary Brooker.
The quality is not too bad. There are a couple of good songs here. Most of the music is mediocre. I am not won over....
