The 15th album from this band from Great Britain.
The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
Three guests added violin, viola and cello and programming on a couple of tracks.
The band returned again after a two years long break.
Their last albums were pretty good albums and an upturn in form. So I had hopes for the fifty minutes long The Visitation.
The band returned to their formula of pomp rock and AOR on this album.
The songs are melodic and perhaps a bit softer and less rock orientated than the music on their last albums.
The vocals are good but there are no good songs here. The music is decent enough though. This is not one of their better albums. It is still a decent enough album.
