There is indeed a lot of art-rock in their music. That gives their music a light, fresh sound.
The band's music has indeed it's own identity. The sound is very good throughout. The music is also very varied with some weird, arty instrumental pieces in addition to the songs. The vocals is very good throughout.
The band is indeed taking the RPI scene into a new direction and I hope the band will not be an outlier in this scene as there is a lot to cherish on this album. Not everything is great here. But this is a debut album and a more than acceptable debut album.
This is one of the most interesting debut album in the RPI genre of the year.
