The band was a seven-pieces big band with a lineup of percussion, theremin, bass, guitars, piano, vibes, keyboards, mellotron and vocals.
Two guests added cello and vocals.
This band released this album through the highly respected AltRock Records and Bandcamp. That is all I know about this band and album.
The album clocks in at one hour.
The music is broadly speaking RIO/Avant-garde.
There is a lot more to the music than this genre. Clear influences are dream pop, cinematic rock and post-rock. A mix of these four genres and the picture becomes a lot clearer.
The music is indeed pretty ambient with a lot of slow and stripped down melodies.
There are some female vocals here and they creates a dream pop like sound.
There are some good stuff here and some less good stuff.
The result is a pretty good album and one to check out if avant-garde prog is your thing.
